Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma has proved in his first two seasons in the NBA he can score the ball at a high level.

Now, the swingman wants to improve on his rebounding, passing and defensive skills so that he can become a versatile, all-around player for the Lakers moving forward.

“We have guys who need the ball, and I’m a guy who creates a lot of attention out on the court because of the way I score and shoot the ball,” Kuzma said, via Kyle Goon of the Orange County Register. “I think it’s my job to just continue to develop and become a playmaker, and just grow an all-around game.”

In 67 games this season for the Lakers, Kyle Kuzma is averaging 18.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists. The 23-year-old is shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 30.5 percent from beyond the arc and 74.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Kuzma's rebounding numbers went down this season, while his assists numbers increased. Like Kuzma says, there are a lot of players on the Lakers who need the ball to be effective. With that said, it would benefit Los Angeles if Kuzma became a good playmaker to complement LeBron James and Lonzo Ball.
