LeBron James will look a bit different next season. Not just because the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is poised to have a few more grays in his beard as he turns 35 years old in December, but because he's agreed to cede his favorite number to Anthony Davis, his new superstar running mate. As long as James is changing the way he comports himself, Kyle Kuzma hopes to see the four-time MVP bring back another old look – not just the No. 6 on his jersey.

After word broke that James was giving No. 23 to Davis, he hinted on twitter that he'd be reverting back to the number he wore with the Miami Heat and Team USA. That's when Kuzma chimed in, imploring James to “give the fans what they want” by bringing back his trademark headband.

James stopped regularly wearing a headband in March of the 2015 season, his first after returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers following a four-year stint with the Miami Heat. His headband was famously knocked off his head in the second half of Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals, an accident that happened to coincide with James leading the Heat on a season-saving run that staved off elimination by the San Antonio Spurs. Miami went on to beat San Antonio in Game 7.

Los Angeles missed the playoffs in James debut season in Southern California, ending a personal streak of 13 consecutive postseason appearances and eight straight berths in the Finals. With Davis and perhaps another max-level free agent in tow, James and the Lakers are almost certain to be back in the playoffs next season – headband or not.
