Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma had quite a bit to say on Friday with respect to the coronavirus pandemic and an ongoing second wave.

Kuzma took to Twitter firstly to ask whether followers were content with the potential for more lockdowns, notably in California.

The former first-round pick then had a series of back-and-forth exchanges with his Twitter followers, seemingly suggesting he was skeptical of total lockdowns.

Kuzma first pointed out the fact European nations that seemed to have the virus under control are going back into lockdown.

A few respondents attempted to call out the fact Kuzma and other NBA players managed to avoid the spread in the Orlando bubble, where the Lakers captured their franchise's 17th title.

But Kuzma indicated it would be impractical to apply a bubble to the entire country, not a totally unreasonable statement.

Of course, the idea behind lockdowns would be to limit interpersonal contact and interaction. In essence, this would facilitate something of a makeshift bubble.

However, as Kuzma alluded to, plenty of Americans struggled to handle early lockdowns back in the spring.

While the country has little clarity with respect to the virus' spread or future implementation of lockdowns, Kuzma also awaits determinations regarding his own future.

The 25-year-old is eligible for a rookie extension this offseason, though it remains to be seen if the Lakers still regard him as a part of the team's future.

In this regard, it is certainly possible Kuzma is dangled as trade bait, possibly in pursuit of a backcourt upgrade.

For now, Kuzma is just like the rest American public: searching for answers.
