The NBA and its fans are currently enjoying watching a big group youngsters that are consistently on the rise, particularly the 2017-18 class. As a highlight to the exciting time, Bleacher Report published a column ranking 10 of “the most promising stars in the making.”

If you have been following the league closely, you would pretty much know which guys will be on the list from beginning through end. Here’s a quick rundown on who made it, ordered from 10 to 1:

Lonzo Ball – Los Angeles Lakers
Gary Harris – Denver Nuggets
Jamal Murray – Denver Nuggets
Otto Porter – Washington Wizards
Devin Booker – Phoenix Suns
Jayson Tatum – Boston Celtics
Brandon Ingram – Los Angeles Lakers
Donovan Mitchell – Utah Jazz
Nikola Jokic – Denver Nuggets
Ben Simmons – Philadelphia 76ers

It's reasonable for the most part, but it's also arguable that it's not the best possible lineup for such a list. So, naturally, that hint of doubt is enough to rile up one very supportive mother. Karri Kuzma, mother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma, took to Twitter to express her disappointment.

There's understandably a bias in all of that since it's her son. However, you also have to agree that Kuzma has a great case of being included in such a discussion. He has played well for the Lakers right from the get-go. After gaining attention when he came up big in the Summer League, he never let up and has been playing like the steal of the 2017 draft.

The former Utah Ute standout has 16 games with 20 or more points this season, three of which actually had him going for 30-plus. He leads the Lakers in scoring and threes made, a great contribution from a 27th-overall pick.
