The Los Angeles Lakers welcomed former power forward Julius Randle back on Friday night. The New Orleans Pelicans were in town to face the Lakers, which meant that Randle would make his highly-anticipated return to Los Angeles to take on the team he was drafted by and played four years with.

Randle came out solid in the first quarter, finishing with five points, two rebounds, and an assist in the opening period. During the first timeout of the game, the Lakers also honored Randle by giving him a short, but sweet tribute video.

The night isn't just Randle's however, as the Lakers are also hosting Anthony Davis, a guy who has been in trade talks from the outside over the last several weeks.

Randle is averaging a career-high 19.3 points this season to go along with 9.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 55.3 percent shooting from the field.
