Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly offered Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, and 1st round pick for New Orleans Pelicans' star Anthony Davis.

They have reportedly called Pelicans GM Dell Demps to let him know that one of the trade scenarios include almost their entire young core.

The Lakers are the clear frontrunners to land Davis, and offering Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, Zubac, as well as a first round pick is an offer that would be hard to resist for New Orleans.

The Pelicans are planning to do a full rebuild, following Davis' trade request, and adding young pieces like Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, and Zubac will help them short or long-term. None of them are above 23 years old, and all of them have shown potential to be great players in the league.

Ball has always been seen as a point guard with excellent court vision, and he will be able to help run the Pelicans' offense alongside Jrue Holiday. Ingram and Kuzma are great scorers when given the right amount of shots. They are capable of consistently producing 20 points on a nightly basis and will surely help New Orleans' offense. Zubac has shown the promise of being a great big man. He will be able to share minutes with Jahlil Okafor.

It is uncertain if the Pelicans will agree to this trade, as reports have initially circulated that they are not entertaining any offers particularly from the Lakers. In addition, the team's front office will most likely look for better offers. If they can't find one now, then they will look again next offseason.

However, things can still change between now and the trade deadline on February 7.
