This is just one among the many tributes paid to the Black Mamba from athletes other than basketball players. World-class athletes from football, American football, tennis, baseball, among others, have honored the late Kobe Bryant in their own ways.

In the NBA, several players have changed their jerseys while some coaches have worn Kobe's signature shoes during games. During the start of every game, teams have committed eight-second backcourt violation followed by a 24-second shot clock violation in honor of Bryant, who wore no. 8 and no. 24 in his illustrious 20-year career with the Lakers.

AC Milan, Bryant's favorite football club, paid a tribute by playing a video moments before kick-off in their game against Torino. After scoring a penalty, Brazilian football star Neymar flashed the no. 24 using his hands.
