Lamar Odom was at Philips Arena during Sunday's duel between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks. Per Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Odom was already headed to the Lakers locker room and was ready to celebrate.

Odom, who was a critical piece of the Lakers' back-to-back titles from 2008 to 2010, has to be pumped that the Purple and Gold are back in the running for that elusive Larry O'Brien trophy.

Back then, Odom was the leader of the Lakers' second unit. But during the game's critical moments, head coach Phil Jackson would insert him back. His versatility and impact on both ends of the floor made him one of the team's best assets.

Though it's too early to tell if this year's version of the Lakers can win it all, a lot are in agreement with Odom. After all, LeBron James and company picked up their sixth win in a row over the Hawks. They currently sport a 23-3 record for first place in the West.

Analysts have been praising James' chemistry with Anthony Davis. Some even believe that Davis is James' best teammate ever. Apart from their dynamic duo, the overall play, particularly their defense, has catapulted them to where they are right now. If everything goes well, then Odom's forecast may just turn out to be true.
