Lance Stephenson of the Los Angeles Lakers posted a photo with NBA legends Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan.

Check out the photo below as posted on his own Instagram account. As observed, three of the greatest players of all time are looking at Stephenson as he pumps himself up.

The photo was obviously edited. But there's a pretty good truth in it. A look at the teams that Stephenson has played in reveals that he has been in contact with Bird, Jordan, and Johnson.

Bird, of course, is the president of the Indiana Pacers where Stephenson spent six seasons with. It is really where he bloomed and became a household name for his aggressiveness and tenacity.

Stephenson also spent a season with the Charlotte Hornets where Jordan is the principal owner and chairman. However, after just one season with the Hornets, Stephenson was traded away. Per Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report, Stephenson talked about what sorts of advice Jordan gave him:

“He was communicating with me, telling me to keep a positive head even though I had a rough year. This was one of the roughest seasons—injuries, not getting my spot back. I felt like I could help this squad, but it just didn't go the way I planned it to go.”

Now, Stephenson is with the Lakers alongside Johnson — the team's president of basketball operations. So there's a pretty good reason why he posted the edited photo above. He has exchanged more than a few words with these greats. And all of them respected his capabilities.
