Whenever LaVar Ball speaks, it's as if the NBA is transformed into the WWE. The Ball family patriarch was running his mouth once again earlier this week. In usual LaVar fashion, he had more than a few controversial things to say, especially about the Los Angeles Lakers.

One of the most attention-grabbing statements he made centered around the Lakers' duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis. According to LaVar, it would be a mismatch if the Lakers faced off against Lonzo Ball and the New Orleans Pelicans in the first round of the playoffs — in favor of the Pelicans, of course.

Below is a clip of Ball blabbering on as he guested on Complex Sports' Load Management:

Not only did Ball claim that the Pelicans could topple the mighty Lakers in a series, but he also shared how they were going to do it. According to the outspoken Ball, all New Orleans would have to do is to double-team both LeBron and Davis.

It's as simple as that.

I guess it's going to be a problem, though, when both Lakers stars are on the floor, as double-teaming two players on an opposing team would almost certainly lead to at least one open teammate. Then again, Ball seems to have everything figured out — as always.

For good measure, Ball also said in the same interview that in his heyday, he would have easily defeated Michael Jordan and Zion Williamson in a game of one-on-one. We'll just leave that there for your own interpretation.
