LaVar Ball brought his youngest son, LaMelo, to the BIG3 regular-season finale at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, only to be welcomed with loud cheers after appearing on the venue's big screen.

While he has definitely been a divisive personality for most NBA fans, one thing is undeniable — LaVar's popularity has skyrocketed from what he was at this point last year, bringing Lonzo Ball to the UCLA Bruins.

As part of the hometown Los Angeles Lakers, the Staples Center has become his back porch, as the crowd showered the 6-foot-6 Big Baller Brand founder upon his arrival.

The BIG3 chose the right venue to bring its season to a close, getting the likes of Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade, Lakers' owner Jeanie Buss, TNT analyst Kenny Smith, boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya, and former NFL wideout Chad Johnson to enjoy the four-game event, according to ESPN's Johan Buha.

While LaVar tends to steal the show just about everywhere he goes, the BIG3 has saved a couple of juicy nuggets for its finale, including Allen Iverson's 3's Company potentially being able to make the playoffs and the Killer 3s potentially ruining Trilogy's undefeated run before the start of the postseason.
