LaVar Ball had a clear message for former Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott after he came to the rescue of Luke Walton once the former had criticized his methods of coaching his son, Lonzo Ball.

The highly-rambunctious father of the rookie point guard had no filter responding to Scott after TMZ Sports passed along the comments the latter had made previously.

“Yeah, I got words for Byron Scott: Shut the hell up and do what you do! Leave me alone,” LaVar said. “He ain't doin' nothing else. Tell him if he want his name in the news, tell him go do something! You ain't gotta talk about Ball to get your name in the news. But then again, yes you do. Cause ain't nobody talk about Byron Scott doin' nothing.”

Byron Scott had previously come in defense of Luke Walton after the Ballfather threw his usual temper-tantrum following a Lakers loss, telling him to “stay on the sidelines.”

“They're soft. They don't know how to coach my son. I know how to coach him,” LaVar said to Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus during an interview last month. “I tell him to go get the victory. Stop messing around.”

Lonzo Ball has struggled with his shooting through the first quarter of the season, averaging a mere nine points, while shooting 31.5 percent from the floor and 25.7 percent from deep, along with 7.2 assists, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game.

Walton had talked about Lonzo's lack of confidence and his struggles getting in his head as part of his continued woes from the floor, which were evident when he sat him for the entire fourth quarter during a 100-93 win over the Phoenix Suns.
