Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recently sought an honest opinion from his old pal in Gilbert Arenas regarding the game of his eldest son in Bronny James. After hearing what the former Washington Wizards star has to say, LeBron instantly agreed and responded with an ecstatic ‘dead on' remark, via Complex Sports.

Bronny is currently heading to his sophomore year in Sierra Canyon where he first attended back in 2019. He saw a limited role in the team after previously playing behind the team's two five-star recruits in BJ Boston who committed to the Kentucky Wildcats and Ziaire Williams who took his talents to the Stanford Cardinals.

Meanwhile, the teenager's father in Lakers star LeBron James remains to be one of the most highly-recruited high school players in history and one of the select few who skipped college and immediately took their game to the big leagues.

Arenas claimed that the 16-year-old currently has a better shot, dribbling, and a higher vertical compared to his father who was his own star back in 10th grade playing for the St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He also added that both Bronny and his father had the same level of passing skills but LeBron had the upper hand with regards to speed.

The opinion of Arenas certainly serves as an encouraging sign for the four-time MVP to know that his son is trending in the right direction. Basketball fans continue to hope for Bronny James to maximize his potential and live up to the high expectations set around him despite the immense pressure of being LeBron James' son.
