Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James is quickly nearing a return to the hardwood as he continues to recover from an ankle injury. As the King rehabs, there's been no shortage of teasers on social media from him.

James took to Instagram on Monday morning and posted a video from Saturday night, where he was seen running lines in Dallas. It's unknown if it was post or pregame, but it's a good sign to see the Lakers star moving gracefully.

“Coming to a city near you” is the type of caption that will get LA fans jumping out of their seats.

Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported on Saturday that James could return to the LA lineup as soon as next week, which is great news for the team. The Lakers just got Anthony Davis back as well from his calf injury and as they continue to slide down the Western Conference standings, this is the best possible time to get the heartbeat of their offense back in James.

The King has missed a total of 18 games since spraining his ankle against the Atlanta Hawks on March 20th. The Lakers have gone 7-11 in his absence, which has seen them fall to fifth place in the West.

AD is starting to find his rhythm offensively and once James does get back on the court, it shouldn't take him too long for him to get back to his dominance. With Andre Drummond also in the frontcourt now, this Lakers team is certainly going to be a force to be reckoned with as they look to defend their title in the playoffs.
