Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James got emotional while watching Episode 4 of The Last Dance

The Lakers small forward apparently almost teared up when he saw Michael Jordan win his first NBA championship and cry with the trophy in his hands.

It reminded The King how happy he was when he won his first title back in 2012 with the Miami Heat. LeBron, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh led the Heat to the 2012 championship over the Oklahoma City Thunder in five games.

Jordan and the Chicago Bulls defeated Magic Johnson and the Lakers in the 1991 Finals in five quick games. That was the first of six championships MJ wound up winning with the franchise in the '90s. His Airness won all six Finals MVPs.

Before the 2019-20 season was suspended due to COVID-19, LeBron was primed to win his fourth championship. The Lakers had the best record in the Western Conference.

James was also averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists for the Lakers while shooting 49.8 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 69.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Purple and Gold fans are praying the 2019-20 season resumes in the summer because this year’s L.A. squad has a really good chance of winning the title with LeBron James and fellow superstar Anthony Davis leading the charge.

The Lakers were 49-14 before Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. The Purple and Gold had a five and a half-game lead over the Los Angeles Clippers in the West standings.
