James is a really smart business man. He only goes into business with companies that are successful. By the looks of it, Rimowa luggage seems to be on the come up. Whenever you can have LeBron has a partner in business, you are doing something right.

Since the Lakers missed the playoffs this season, James has had more time on his hands than usual. He's been watching his oldest son, Bronny, play on the AAU circuit. Now, the four-time MVP has partnered with a slick luggage company.

Of course, fans of the Lakers and James want to see LeBron on the basketball court. This is the first NBA Finals since 2010 which won't feature James, after his reign of Eastern Conference supremacy ended when he signed with Los Angeles last summer. Golden State Warriors big man Draymond Green even went so far as to recently say that it's a “mind fu*k” not to see LeBron in the postseason.

The Lakers have been in the news for all the wrong reasons since the season ended. Magic Johnson, who abruptly stepped down as president of basketball operations during an impromptu press gaggle on the final day of the regular season, didn't help matters by going on ESPN's First Take and essentially calling general manager Rob Pelinka a liar and backstabber. Then on Tuesday, an ESPN report shed even more light on the drama in Los Angeles.

James is trying to stay away from all of this. He might even travel the country with his new suitcase brand.
