While watching his fellow Los Angeles team take on the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers made it clear that the halftime performance was one of the best in recent memory.

LeBron took to Twitter to discuss the halftime performance, and he also spoke about it in a recent interview, comparing the halftime spectacle at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles to Black Panther

According to Michael Corvo, Los Angeles Lakers reporter for Clutch Points, Lakers star LeBron James had this to say about the halftime show at the Super Bowl,

“To Dr. Dre, Snoop, Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick, Mary J. There was a time NFL wouldn’t even allow rap music to be played inside arenas, or hip-hop music to be played inside arenas…To have a performance like that, where Black artists are performing at the Super Bowl — I had a moment of chills, a moment of like, Black Panther-movie feeling. I had a proud moment to be there and seeing hip hop being represented at the highest spectacle of any sport…To have hip hop dominate the Super Bowl was pretty awesome. And it only made it right that Snoop and Dre did that in L.A.”

Everything LeBron is saying is 100% correct. Seeing all of those people performing in the Super Bowl is surely a tremendous thing for black history. Los Angeles does an excellent job of displaying the diversity of the world, and black people generating high-quality music is undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of the city.

Many notable black artists frequently attend Lakers games, and they almost always obtain a picture with Lakers star LeBron James.
