Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James dominated against his former team in the Miami Heat.

James dropped 51 points (19-for-31 from the field and 6-for-8 from three), eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block against the Heat.

Oh, he is going against another former team, which is the Cleveland Cavaliers in Cleveland Wednesday night on nation television.

If what we saw James do against the Heat is any indicator on what he will do against his former teams, then the Cavaliers better watch out and hope he does not do the same thing against them.

This is one of the most efficient 51-point games you will ever see. James prides himself on being efficient and I am sure he is happy with the result, and also getting the win against his former team.

This was a crucial win for the Lakers and James. They are off to a slow start to the season. With the win against the Heat Sunday night, they move to 9-7 on the season.

The 51-point game by James is also his 12th, 50-point game of his career. Pretty crazy for a guy who can score at will and take over a game anytime has only had 12, 50-point games.

James has been on fire lately and is looking to carry his team into the playoffs. These are the type of games that not only give James a huge boost of confidence, but it gives the whole team a huge lift.

With the way their season has started out, they needed this type of game to lift their spirits back up.

We should not take James, the greatest player in the world, for granted.
