Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is still balling out at 37-years-old, but you better believe he's already planning what his next move could be after retirement, whenever that may come.

The King has already dabbled in the ownership business, holding a stake in Premier League club Liverpool FC. But, the Lakers veteran wants to have his own NBA team one day: In Las Vegas.

Via The Uninterrupted:

“I wanna own a team. I wanna buy a team. I want a team in Vegas.”

This comes shortly after NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced the league won't be expanding to Vegas or Seattle in the near future. But, if Bron has anything to say about it, he'd try to get a club in the Sin City. In all honesty, though, the Lakers forward might get his wish one day.

Vegas already has a few successful teams including the Raiders, Golden Knights, and Sparks. They also host the NBA Summer League every year. Plus, James just officially hit billionaire status, which means he could quite possibly afford it. Bron also made sure to point out he'd much rather be in the ownership booth than on TV as an analyst.

It will be interesting to see if LeBron gets his wish. For now, though, he's focused on bouncing back in 2021-22 with the Lakers.
