Wednesday's marquee matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks produced quite a spectacle. It was the defending champions Bucks that emerged with a hard-fought 109-102 victory as all eyes focused on the individual matchup between reigning Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and Anthony Davis.

Richard Jefferson, who used to be teammates with LeBron James in Cleveland, doesn't like the Giannis-AD comparisons one bit. In the mind of the ESPN broadcaster, he firmly believes that the Lakers big man is not at the same level as Giannis (h/t NBA on ESPN on Twitter):

ā€œIt is disrespectful to Giannis to compare him to Anthony Davis,ā€ Jefferson claims.

Jefferson firmly believes that it's simply disrespectful for Antetokounmpo to be likened to a player of Anthony Davis' caliber. The Lakers star is widely considered as one of the top players in the NBA today, but in RJ's mind, he just thinks comparing AD to Giannis is plain slander.

For what it's worth, Giannis did emerge as the true superstar from Wednesday's tilt. The Bucks star dropped 47 points on Anthony Davis and Co. as he proved every bit unstoppable throughout the contest. Antetokounmpo clearly won the battle against Davis on Wednesday night, but the war between these two sides is far from over.
