Despite recently securing the top overall seed in the Western Conference, the form of the Los Angeles Lakers since the restart has been anything but impeccable. The Lakers have lost four out of their six seeding games thus far, which has left LeBron James quite baffled.

According to the Lakers superstar, he himself is having difficulty trying to explain why his team has struggled so mightily inside the Disney World bubble thus far:

“This is a different situation than any situation I’ve been in so it’s kind of hard to say, ‘Okay, well the playoffs is right around the corner, this is where we’re going to be.’ We’re literally in a — we’re in a bubble — it’s kind of hard to explain,” James expressed, via Kyle Goon of the Orange County Register.

LeBron just can't put a finger on why the Lakers haven't been able to get it going of late, with the team suffering their third consecutive loss on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, 116-111. He recently made a cryptic comment about issues off the court in the bubble, but it's unclear what he meant.

James actually had his best offensive showing in the bubble on Saturday, leading his team with 31 points on 13-of-24 shooting to go along with eight rebounds, seven assists, a block, and just one turnover in 35 minutes of play. His partner in crime, Anthony Davis, however, had a terrible evening, logging just eight points on a miserable 3-of-14 shooting. Davis had eight rebounds, four dimes, and four turnovers.

The Lakers still have two more games before their regular season officially comes to an end, starting with the Denver Nuggets on Monday. They close out their regular season against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, and hopefully for them, they get some momentum going prior to the playoffs.
