Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was sharing the wealth early on against the Miami Heat, and it resulted in a buzzer-beating trey for Marc Gasol at halftime.

After Wesley Matthews' own trey went in-and-out, the reigning champions got another chance courtesy of an offensive rebound from Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

The King made sure KCP's effort did not go to waste, as he attracted the defense before kicking it out to Gasol on the right wing. The Spaniard did the rest, drilling the contested triple over Heat All-Star Bam Adebayo to trim the visitors' lead.

LeBron James has always been a point guard trapped in a forward's body, so brilliant decision-making such as this one does not surprise us anymore. The four-time NBA MVP even led the league in assists last season–a first in his illustrious career.

Marc Gasol, for his part, has struggled at the beginning of his Laker career, recording just 4.3 points and 4.2 boards in his first 30 games prior to Saturday's match. It's nice to see the 36-year-old center reward James' unselfishness by making clutch shots.

The Lakers will indeed lean on Gasol for the next four weeks with superstar Anthony Davis out due to an Achilles injury. Hopefully, he could continue knocking down shots to make James' job much easier.
