Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James was limited in practice on Thursday because of flu-like symptoms.

The Lakers are listing James as probable to face the Dallas Mavericks on Friday:

The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference. They are 30-7.

James is playing like an MVP now that he’s healthy again. The King is putting up 25.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 10.8 assists on the season and shooting 48.6 percent overall, 34.7 percent from the 3-point line and 68.8 percent from the charity stripe.

Of course, LeBron has had some help this season. In his first year with the Lakers, Anthony Davis has been a monster on both ends of the court. He’s averaging 27.1 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 blocks while shooting 50.4 percent from the field, 29.7 percent from beyond the arc and 85.9 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers could be without Davis on Friday after the All-Star big man suffered a bruised gluteus maximus versus the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Davis will travel with the Lakers on their two-game road trip.

Davis is on pace to become the first of James' teammates to ever lead the team in scoring. Before the season started, James said he wanted Davis to be the “focal point” of the Lakers’ offense.

It doesn’t really matter who takes more shots, though. As long as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are each dominating the game, LA will be fine.
