The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Atlanta Hawks by a score of 107-106 in a thriller of a game Sunday night. The Lakers were led by a game-high 26 points from LeBron James, who also chipped in seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

While looking at James' box score, one would guess that the superstar had a solid game, even though it may be a little underwhelming for a player of the King's stature.

However, LeBron James had nothing but negatives to say when asked about his game.

“Garbage. I suck from the free throw line right now. I'll get my rhythm back. But I gotta thank Kuz for giving me another opportunity, giving us another opportunity.”

LeBron James is referring to the critical Kyle Kuzma offensive rebound that allowed the Lakers to score the winning basket.

After James missed the second free throw, Kuzma tapped the ball loose, corraled it, but then missed a little flip shot right at the rim. Thankfully for the Lakers, James had crashed the board and was in position for the weak side rebound and putback slam.

The game would end with a Tyson Chandler block on the other hand when the newest Laker tipped Trae Young's finger roll off course to seal the win.

LeBron James is his own harshest critic, and he knows that the team looks to him to convert in clutch situations, and missing these freebies is unacceptable for a player of his caliber.
