Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has gotten better as he has aged and that appears to also be the case with his NBA 2K19 rating. James is appearing on the 20th-anniversary edition of the game, and for his services, the game is giving him a cool rating of 98.

That is up from his NBA 2K18 edition rating where James has a rating of 97. During part of the season he did raise up to 98, but for the most part, the rating stayed steady at 98.

The release of his overall rating for 2K also gave everyone a chance to see him in a Lakers jersey, and there has been some buzz about how that will look.

James has been in the news a lot the last few weeks which is no surprise and so has LaVar Ball who has made his latest claim regarding The King. When Ball played for Washington State he averaged 2.2 points per game but he thinks he could beat James one on one.

“(I was) 270 (pounds) benching 500! All I gotta do is back you in, I’ll lift all of them up off their feet! … I was a bad mamajama. My will to win was too hard man. One-on-one, I’d be on myself all day.”

There is no chance that Ball could have beat him one on one, and it's interesting that he is taking a shot at James when he is on the same team as Lonzo. Maybe the next thing that LaVar will claim is that he would have been a 2k cover athlete back in his heyday.
