It's been just over 24 hours since the Los Angeles Lakers brought home the 2020 NBA crown – their 17th overall banner in franchise history. The Lakers capped off one of the most difficult seasons the league has seen and managed to jump over a ton of hurdles just to make sure the Larry O'Brien was brought back to Hollywood before this crazy year comes to a close. And, spearheading that incredible season was none other than four-time NBA Champion, LeBron James.

While the smoke is still clearing, Lebron James made it known to the world that he's closely watching the narrative and is using all his accolades to slowly but surely silence all the hate towards his name.

“What they gone say now?”, Lebron James posted on his Instagram account. “I know they'll make up another criteria that nobody else has ever had in the history of the game. But guess what though, bring it on please! Heavy is the heat that holds the crown they say. Let's get it!”

LeBron James also capped the epic post with a #RevengeSZNCompleted to officially let all the haters now that the job (at least for 2020) is done.

Amid all the criticism and the talk about him being ‘washed up' coming into his 17th season, LeBron James managed to pull off yet another incredible performance to add to his already-impressive resume. Together with Anthony Davis, James led the Lakers squad through a pandemic season riddled with injuries. At 35, the four-time NBA Finals MVP remained the best in the world.

As LeBron James always puts it, he's just a kid from Akron. But now, that ‘kid' has just won his fourth NBA ring and is still clearly at the top of the league.
