Lakers superstar LeBron James found himself looking for a place to sleep after landing in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

On Thanksgiving Eve, James and the Lakers were in New Orleans for a nationally-televised matchup against the Pelicans. Los Angeles managed to claim a 114-110 victory, with Anthony Davis starring in front of his former team.

Like a lot households across the United States, James had family staying at his home for Thanksgiving. The three-time champion had just posted 29 points and 11 assists against the Pelicans, so he was probably ready to call it a night, especially after a flight back to Southern California. However, when The King went to get in bed, his spot was already taken by his daughter, who was curled up next to her mother.

“And to add insult to injury, I walk into my bedroom to finally get in bed with my wife. My daughter is knocked out in my spot. 🤦🏾‍♂️!! She’s left her room at some point to climb in bed with her mama!,” James wrote in his post. “Now for me, I have to find somewhere else to sleep. Mind you, family is in town for the holidays, so the guest rooms are all booked!! 😤😤😤😤. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Man I love my family.”

Hey, can't break that up, right?

James and the Lakers are off to a fantastic start to this season. With Wednesday night's victory, they improved their record to 16-2 overall. They'll look to keep their momentum rolling on Friday night, when they kick off a two-game home stand with a matchup against the Washington Wizards.
