Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James continues to mourn and share his heartbreak over the recent Texas school shooting that rocked the whole nation.

James was among the first athletes to react to the horrific tragedy, as he shared his sympathy to the victims and their families while also condemning the violent and cruel act. He went on to demand for change and immediate action as people with malicious intentions continue to target schools and take innocent lives.

Now on Instagram, James shared the photos of some of the children who lost their lives in the heartbreaking tragedy and remembered them in a tribute. The Lakers leader also shared his wish for everyone to help in protecting the future of the nation.

According to the latest updates, a total of 19 children and two teachers were killed after an 18-year-old male opened fire at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas. At least 17 were also injured in the Texas school shooting.

The said suspect, identified as Salvador Ramos, has been killed after responding law enforcement fatally wounded him.

Following the incident, tributes and sympathies poured in from around the world. Meanwhile in the NBA, aside from LeBron James, other players and coaches also condemned the incident and asked for immediate action to prevent such cruelty from happening again.

For one, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had an impassioned plea for the US government to do something about gun laws and quickly act before another school shooting and senseless killings take the lives of innocent children and people.
