LeBron needed just three emojis to express his appreciation to his former teammates and all that they did for the team during their time with the Lakers:

Among the departing bunch, it has to be the duo of Alex Caruso and Kyle Kuzma that has grown most fondly in the hearts of the Lakers faithful. Both players have been with the team for the past four years, and for most, it wasn't easy to see them go.

Caruso, in particular, built up quite a following with the fanbase, and his move to the Chicago Bulls came as a bit of a shock to more than a few supporters. Kuzma, on the other hand, wasn't exactly the most well-loved member of the Lakers, but there's no denying that he played a key role in the team's 2020 title run.

The rest of the departing players all have their respective narratives with the Lakers, and it is clear that LeBron James truly appreciates all of their sacrifices for the squad.
