On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the Minnesota Timberwolves and came away with a 137-121 victory. Of course, LeBron James had himself quite the game, finishing with a triple-double that pleads his case for an MVP award. He finished the game with 25 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds, leading Los Angeles to a 16 point victory. However, it wasn't done without LeBron showing off either. During the game, King James took it to Karl-Anthony Towns with an incredible reverse layup. It was so sick, the Lakers ‘ official Twitter page shared it with the world as well.

However, it seems LeBron is crediting his teammate, Talen Horton-Tucker for learning the move from him, per Ryan Ward. Horton-Tucker is only in the second year of his career, but even so, James stays a student of the game at 36 years old.

A cool nod from LeBron James to the young role player on the Lakers' roster. Horton-Tucker is someone who has stepped up his game for the Lakers this season, especially with Anthony Davis still sidelined. He's receiving about 18 minutes per game, averaging 7.2 points, 1.9 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game.

LeBron learning for Horton-Tucker is reminiscent of Kobe Bryant doing the same thing with younger players in the league. JJ Reddick recalled a time during his rookie season, where Kobe Bryant picked his brain on shooting three-pointers during a quick workout. Reddick spoke about it with Jayson Tatum on his podcast, The Old Man and the Three.

Considering James is recognized as the best player in the world, it's cool to see him credit younger players and show how he's still learning about the game as well. A nice message to take away from this is no matter how old or experienced a person is, there is always something you can learn from them.
