The Los Angeles Lakers exacted sweet revenge against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night with a convincing 117-102 victory at the Arena Formerly Known as Staples Center.

After losing in their first meeting last month, the Lakers evened up their head-to-head this season, marking the fifth straight time that the archrivals split their regular season series.

Lakers superstar LeBron James got the job done with 30 points, four rebounds, and five assists. He also got a nice prize from veteran wingman Kent Bazemore after the game.

Ah, classic.

Yes, LeBron, Bazemore, and the rest of the Purple & Gold must be feeling good after beating the Celtics. At this point, the Lakers will be happy with any win, as they've struggled to find their footing. Of course, health has been the focal concern for the team, but The King has looked pretty good as of late.

LeBron got plenty of help against the Celtics, with Russell Westbrook finishing with 24 points and 11 assists and Anthony Davis adding 17 points, 16 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.

The Celtics made a strong showing in the fourth quarter, but the Lakers built enough of a cushion in the previous frame to come away with the W and improve to 13-12, nine of those victories happening at home.

The Lakers will next face the surging Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday.
