Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is looking forward to playing in the 2020 All-Star game, which will take place in Chicago.

Barring something unforeseen happening, James will play in his 16th consecutive All-Star game:

Through the Lakers' first six games of the season, James is averaging 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 11.2 assists. The four-time MVP and three-time champion is shooting 47.4 percent from the field, 28.1 percent from beyond the arc and 75.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers are 5-1 on the young season. LeBron has five double-doubles and two triple-doubles already. Los Angeles takes on the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday at the United Center, a game LA will likely win.

James has been an All-Star captain the last two years. LeBron has bigger fish to fry this season. Now that Anthony Davis is by his side, the Lakers are title contenders.

The King is using this season to remind everyone he's the best player in the NBA. Some believe Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard has taken that crown from LeBron. James is going to let his play on the court do the talking for him, as he usually does.

LeBron is trying to win his fourth title this season and bring banner No. 17 to Laker Nation. So far, the results look good for the Lakers and James.
