It was a very competitive game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Both the Lakers and the Bucks were looking to return to the win column after two point losses on Monday night. As both ball clubs looked for a victory, the stars made sure to bring 100 percent effort throughout the contest.

The Lakers held a five point lead entering the fourth quarter. They were getting great contributions from players in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Alex Caruso, Montrezl Harrell, and many more. It was time to close the game out and there were many hot hands on the floor. But at the end of the game, the ball was definitely put in one player’s hands: The King!

With 1:12 remaining in the fourth quarter, the Lakers had a 108-103 lead. As Anthony Davis worked in the post, he found himself double-teamed by Jrue Holiday and Brook Lopez. With the shot clock winding down, his point guard instincts found and open LeBron James on the left wing. With that being said, James took one dribble and launched a step back three-pointer to extend the Lakers’ lead to eight.

James’ fourth quarter performance led the Lakers to a 113-106 victory. The win extends their record to a 12-4 record overall. As the Western Conference continues to become more competitive, it is important for the team to secure victories against top contenders.

James was the leading scorer for the Lakers with 34 points. Caldwell-Pope followed it up with 23 pts while Anthony Davis finished with 18. It was an overall balanced game for the purple and gold and is huge momentum for the team going forward.
