Kevin Love has just spilled the beans on his good buddy LeBron James. According to Love, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar is one of the most frugal people he knows. What makes this story even more astonishing is when you consider how LeBron is literally the highest-paid athlete in sports.

Apparently, LeBron does not use data on his phone at all. The Lakers superstar doesn't want to pay for this service and would much rather get on Wi-Fi whenever and wherever the opportunity presents itself (h/t Bleacher Report on Twitter):

“We're in Toronto, right?” Love said in a recent interview with Taylor Rooks. “That drive from the airport and going through customs to then getting to our hotel, yeah, there's no data used at all. Like, he's waiting for the Wi-Fi the whole time. Then that drive from the hotel to then the arena, Air Canada, also waits to get to the arena Wi-Fi.”

That's just so hilarious. I can imagine LeBron calling a waiter as soon as they get inside a restaurant just to get the Wi-Fi password. As Love said, this type of mindset is probably one of the reasons why the Lakers star has accumulated so much wealth. The Cavs star respects his friend's frugal ways, but Love also can't help but call him out from time to time:

“But I can appreciate it,” Love continued. “I gotta say, it's not like I'm mad at him, but I'm like, ‘C'mon ‘Bron, seriously? It's Wi-Fi.'”
