If there’s anything that the past season has taught us, it’s that LeBron James still matches up well against Father Time. But the last couple of months have also taught us that there’s a foe that the Los Angeles Lakers forward has struggled against: sleep.

During their playoff run in the NBA bubble, James’ struggles to sleep have been well-documented, with the four-time champion even posting about his inability to sleep on Twitter. This was apparent in the Finals when they faced the Miami Heat when he fired off several tweets after the Lakers’ Game 2 and Game 4 victories about still being awake in the small hours of the morning.

But weeks later and with another championship won and it seems as if his struggles to sleep have followed LeBron James outside the bubble and into his home. This time, the four-time MVP took to rewatching one of the greatest games in NBA Finals history to pass the time until he can fall asleep.

James took a trip down memory lane, rewatching Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, where he helped the Cleveland Cavaliers complete a 3-1 comeback against the Golden State Warriors to win his third championship and end Cleveland’s 52-year championship drought.

The 2016 Cavaliers became the first team in the Finals to complete a comeback after being down 3-1, and James was the force that fueled that comeback, winning Finals MVP after averaging 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 2.6 steals, and 2.3 blocks, including a 27-point, 11-rebound, 11-assist effort in Game 7.

That game was a back and forth affair that featured several ties and lead changes, with the Cavaliers winning 93-89, so who knows whether that will help him fall asleep or just give him more adrenaline.
