The list of accomplishments of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is absurdly long by now. Yet, he continues to pile on the achievements in his 18th season in the league. The King aligned himself with the Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson on Friday, becoming the second player to record 20-plus points and 10-plus  assists in at least four Christmas Day games.

LeBron James also surpassed The Big O in another category in the Lakers' 138-115 triumph over the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center. LBJ overtook Robinson as the second-highest Christmas Day scorer in NBA history following his 22-point outing on Friday. James now has 380 points, dropping Robertson who scored 377 during the December 25 games he played in his career. LeBron now just needs 16 points to edge out the late Kobe Bryant, who still holds the record with 395 points.

It truly was a magical Christmas for LeBron this 2020. Apart from setting more individual records, he also led the Purple and Gold to their first victory of the 2020-21 season. The reigning champs were denied by the Los Angeles Clippers in their season opener, which put a damper in their ring ceremony. Led by the brilliance of four-time NBA MVP, the Lakers bounced back beautifully against the Mavs and were locked-in from the opening tip.

As for LeBron, there's still plenty of records to be broken as he is set to turn 36 years old next week. Most pundits believe he even has a shot at becoming the league's all-time leading scorer when it's all said and done. The Lakers star, however, still has a lot of catching up to do in that regard, trailing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone.

LeBron will likely be sticking with breaking Christmas Day records. For now, at least.
