The Los Angeles Lakers have made a flurry of moves in the offseason as they look to redeem themselves in the upcoming campaign. They're not done just yet, though, as they are now being linked to a move for the Brooklyn Nets' DeAndre Jordan.

One particular Eastern Conference executive isn't too pleased with how the Lakers have been making waves in the offseason. As such, he's resorted to a bit of name-calling as he/she likened LeBron James' team to a bunch of AARP members:

“I hope the [Brooklyn] Nets buy him out so he can join the Lakers’ AARP squad,” an Eastern Conference executive said, via Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype. “Better yet, the LAARP. I’ve never seen a roster like this.”

For those that require context, AARP stands for American Association of Retired Persons. We get it, the Lakers are old. They're only going to get older if they are somehow able to steal DeAndre Jordan away from the Nets.

Be that as it may, it's hard to deny that the Lakers have significantly improved their roster for the upcoming campaign. They may be the oldest team in the league by a country mile, but they're also without a doubt the most experienced squad. I guess we'll just have to see if LeBron and Co. have found the recipe for success, or if this unconventional roster is going to backfire on them completely.
