It’s hard to believe that LeBron James, who is regarded as the consensus best player in the world, may actually not be the best shooter in his family. This is exactly what the Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward feels.

According to him, his son, Bryce Maximus James, is the best shooter in the James household.

Slam Online released on Twitter a highlight mixtape of the 11-year old, in which James retweeted the following:

As seen in the video, most of Bryce’s highlights featured him splashing in threes with a seemingly good form for a kid his age. While his father conceded the best shooter in the family award to his 11 year old son, LeBron’s statements may be a bit of a stretch.

LeBron started out his career as a sub-par shooter from the outside. In his rookie season, the then high school prodigy out of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School shot 29% from three, which was the lowest he has shot in his entire career. But his shooting has steadily improved and has evolved throughout his 15 years in the league. He made 149 three pointers in a full 82-game season in 2017-18, the most in his career. The four time MVP is a 34.4% career three-point shooter thus far.

This is obviously just a show of love from the future Hall of Famer.

LeBron James is known to be big time family man and has always raved about his sons. His support as a father is second to none. The three-time NBA champion is always seen watching his sons’ games. Bronny Jr., his eldest son, is already making waves in the AAU as part of the North Coast Blue Chips.

LeBron has said in the past that he dreams of playing with his son in the NBA some day. With his durability, this possibility may not be too far-fetched.
