Rumors of a LeBron James reboot of Space Jam are running amok. James' production company, Spring Hill Entertainment, tweeted a picture from Space Jam's original website. This is increasing the speculation that a Space Jam reboot or sequel starring LeBron James is in the works.

James is the obvious choice for a Space Jam sequel. He's the NBA's biggest star since Michael Jordan and he's probably the most recognizable athlete on the planet. If anyone can live up to Jordan's legacy on the silver screen, it's James.

But what other NBA players will take on starring roles alongside James. In the original Space Jam, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Muggsy Bogues, Shawn Bradley, and Larry Johnson lost their basketball powers to the Monstars.

Draymond Green is a natural fit to replace Barkley, despite his differences on the court with James. Porzingis should follow in the footsteps of Ewing. Isaiah Thomas would be the perfect replacement for Bogues if James and Thomas didn't have the failed Cleveland experiment. Brook Lopez is a bit of a nerd who likes cartoons so he should replace Bradley. And just for good measure, Lance Stephenson should be the fifth player on the cast. Lance will put fannies in the seats.

There are hundreds of ways to go in a Space Jam sequel. They may change up the story entirely for LeBron or they may keep the same basic storyline. Either way, it's beginning to look like a Space Jam sequel is close to a reality.
