Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is mourning the sudden passing of his Klutch Sport stablemate Terrence Clarke. The 19-year-old former Kentucky standout tragically lost his life in a car accident in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The King took to Instagram to pay his respects after the stunning and devastating turn of events, calling Terrence Clarke his “nephew” and adding the hashtag #YoungKing.

In preparation for the 2021 NBA Draft, Terrence Clarke, along with his fellow Wildcat alum Brandon Boston Jr., just recently joined LeBron and his agent Rich Paul over at Klutch Sports. Boston was with Clarke during the car crash but was spared since he was riding a separate vehicle at the time.

By the looks of it, it seems Terrence Clarke has become close to the James household, as LeBron's oldest son Bronny also expressed his condolences to the 19-year-old's family. Clarke figured in a disappointing one-and-done career with Kentucky as he was greatly hampered by injuries. He only played eight games for the Wildcats with averages of 9.6 points on 42.1 percent shooting, along with 2.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists.

However, Terrence Clarke continued to pursue his NBA dream and declared for the 2021 Draft class last March. Despite his struggles, several teams have already been intrigued by his two-way potential. The 6-foot-7 guard was projected to go mid-to-late first round.

The Klutch Sports Group, meanwhile, is a tight-knit group composed of high-profile clients like LeBron, Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons, and John Wall, among many others. The Lakers meagastar, of course, values family above everything and he is saddened by the loss of such a promising young kid in Terrence Clarke.
