LeBron James' decision to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers is getting a reaction out of nearly everyone, for better or for worse. Recently, a mural of LeBron in a Lakers uniform that reads “King of LA” was vandalized with graffiti.

The comments read mentioned his 3-6 record in the NBA Finals and even referred to LeBron as LeFraud.

This isn't anything too out of the ordinary or King James. Throughout much of his career, LeBron has been one of the most polarizing figures in all of professional sports.

Love him or hate him, everyone seems to have a strong opinion on him one way or the other. This vandalism was clearly done by a Lakers fan that is more on the hate side.

But regardless of whether or not fans have loved him or hated him in the past, any Lakers fan who doesn't want LeBron in Los Angeles is out of their mind. He immediately takes the Lakers from a fringe playoff team—at best—to a definite playoff team. They may not quite be contenders for a championship with the current roster. But that has more to do with the dominance of the Golden State Warriors than anything else.

Another interesting aspect to this piece of vandalism is the fact that there are already so many legendary stars who've played for the Lakers. Every Lakers fan has their favorite Laker of all-time. It might be Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry West, or maybe James Worthy. But regardless, everyone has their favorite.

Some fans may be jealous that someone new is taking away the shine from their favorite player.
