LeBron James had the opportunity to speak out on the recent grand jury decision on the case of Breonna Taylor following the Los Angeles Lakers' Game 4 win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday.

In his post-game statement, LeBron James expressed how he and the rest of the team were not shocked by how the verdict turned out:

LeBron James was clearly distraught about how only one police officer was indicted in relation to the killing of Breonna Taylor. However, as he expressed above, what's more disheartening here is how they had all somehow expected the same. It was a sad day for LeBron, the Lakers, and for most, if not all of the NBA.

LeBron James had Taylor in mind on Thursday, as he channeled his anger and frustration to his basketball. This resulted in another outstanding performance for the 35-year-old, as he finished with 26 points on 7-of-18 shooting, to go along with nine boards, eight assists, and zero turnovers in 38 minutes of action.

LeBron James helped his side to a series-defining 114-108 victory, as the Lakers now go up 3-1 in the series. They are now just one win away for reaching the NBA Finals for the first time in 10 years, which speaks volumes of how amazing this season has been for the Purple & Gold.

We cannot, however, count out the Nuggets just yet. They've been in this position before, and we all know how that turned out, so coming from 3-1 down is definitely not beyond them at this point.
