Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and the rest of his family received some tremendous news on Tuesday. This came in the form of his first-born son, Bronny James, being named as part of the McDonald's All American Game roster this March. Unsurprisingly, the four-time NBA champion could not help but get emotional with his priceless reaction to the news.
LeBron quickly took to Instagram upon hearing the news. In fact, he even took a photo of the roster from ESPN's live announcement — just like any proud and supportive dad would:
“Ayyyyyyyeeeeee @bronny!!!!!! Congratulations Son! So damn proud of you! Continue to be you through it all no matter what!! You’re truly AMAZING!!! #JamesGang👑 . P.S. Congrats to all the other men and women who was named as well in the 2023 Class Micky D’s games! It’s an HONOR,” LeBron wrote in his caption.

I can almost picture the great LeBron James wiping a tear from his eye as he witnessed his son take a significant step in his basketball career. James himself was in this position in the past, albeit in a different circumstance, and he truly understands how special this moment is for Bronny. In fact, it wouldn't be surprising if LeBron is making a bigger deal out of this than Bronny himself.
Either way, Bronny James is now well on his way to fulfilling his dream to step into the NBA someday. First things first, though. He will need to pick his college of choice first, which is an imminent decision that has understandably already garnered national attention.
