LeBron James is known for his versatility on the court, having played just about every position possible. While speaking to the press, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel talked about the possibility of using LeBron James in the center position more going forward.

“It’s something we talk about. It’s something we consider. You have to measure what that does for his workload. Whether that’s something that we just want to use in small doses when needed or if it’s going to become part of us on a regular basis. I think everything’s on the table with this year’s team, with the the newness of our group. And obviously the first look at it in more than a minute or two was really good. So, just something we’re going to continue to evaluate.”

The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled so far this season. They are 10-10 and are currently tied for 7th seed in the Western Conference with three other teams.

This year's version of the Los Angeles Lakers has a lot of new faces. The relative ineffectiveness of Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan in the middle has been evident. That has prompted Frank Vogel to experiment with different lineups.

All of this comes as questions surround Vogel's job security as the Lakers head coach.

The expectations are always high when LeBron James is on your team. That is especially true when it's the Los Angeles Lakers. Vogel looks like he might need to shake things up in hopes of turning the season around.
