The Los Angeles Lakers are listing star small forward LeBron James as probable to play against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday.

While James is probable, it's likely that the All-Star forward will play on Tuesday and then rest versus the Utah Jazz on Wednesday.

LeBron James still isn't 100 percent recovered from the groin injury he suffered on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors. With the Lakers out of the playoffs, we'll probably see James on the injury report for the rest of the season.

In 53 games this campaign, LeBron is putting up 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 8.1 assists. Since returning from the groin injury on Jan. 31, The King is averaging 27.7 points, 9.1 rebounds and 9.9 assists while shooting 49.0 percent from the floor, 30.9 percent from beyond the arc and 64.7 percent from the free-throw line.

The Lakers will enter Tuesday with a record of 32-41. LeBron's first year in Los Angeles has been a disaster, but the players have vowed to finish the regular season strong and not pack it in.

James signed a four-year deal with the Purple and Gold, though the four-time MVP knew it would take time for the Lakers to become a contender. We'll see if Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka will do a better job this summer of constructing a roster which is able to play with James.
