Like many people around the world, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James saw the news of the horrific Atlanta shootings, which reportedly involved the shooter's point of emphasis being the Asian community.

After a horrific event took place on Tuesday, people around the world sent out their condolences to the victims, and the families involved in the heinous crime.

Early Tuesday evening, a man reportedly shot people at three separate massage parlors. All of the victims involved are of Asian descent, per Alive.

A man was arrested after eight people were killed in shootings at three separate massage parlors in Cherokee County and Midtown Atlanta Tuesday. The FBI is now assisting local officials with the investigation and President Biden has been briefed.

The act was clearly committed through pure hatred and racism towards Asian people. It's something that has no place in this world, a tragedy for everyone involved. Moments like these are a reminder as to why the Black Lives Matter movement started. Lakers superstar LeBron James offered his condolences to the families of the victims, and the entire Asian community, who also deal with racism in America.

Robert Aaron Long is the suspect and is currently under custody, per Alive. He and his vehicle have been seen at all three locations of the shootings, thanks to video surveillance at the massage parlors.

Just before 9:00 p.m. on March 16, Cherokee officials said he was arrested in Crisp County, Georgia which is off I-75 in South Central Georgia, about 150 miles south of Atlanta. Officials told 11Alive's Jon Shirek a Georgia State Patrol trooper used a PIT maneuver to stop his vehicle after deputies recognized him.

Hopefully one day soon, hate crimes like this one will be removed completely from the world. As we continue to grow as a society, educating people on different cultures and ways of living, could be one way to grow as a whole.
