Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James holds no ill feelings toward Jamal Murray after the Denver Nuggets guard inadvertently hit him with an elbow across the face in Game 3 of their West Finals showdown on Tuesday.

Murray was assessed with a flagrant foul 1 at the 10-minute mark of the third period after that MMA-esque elbow dropped James to the floor.

In the aftermath of Denver's spirited 114-106 win to trim the Lakers' series lead 2-1, The King was asked for his thoughts about the hit. The four-time MVP took it like a champ and bared that officials made the right call of not ejecting Murray out of the game.

While replays showed that Jamal Murray did get LeBron James pretty good, some Twitter users argued that the Lakers forward sold that call pretty well with a nice acting job. Meanwhile, the referees' decision on that play certainly carried a lot of ramifications in the end result of the thrilling ball game.

Had Murray been thrown out for a flagrant 2, the Lakers probably would have completed that inspiring comeback in the fourth quarter and likely would have taken a commanding 3-0 series lead by now. Murray torched the Purple and Gold in the dying minutes of the contest to stop LA's momentum — shutting the door for good for the Lakers with a back-breaking 3-pointer in the final minute.

Murray finished with 28 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds in 44 minutes for the Nuggets. James, on the other hand, led the way for the LakeShow with a triple-double performance of 30 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

The Lakers may have come up short in this one, but LeBron still deserves some props for wanting to go up against Denver's best lineup on the floor.
