“The King” has always shown love for the game of football. Not only has LeBron James shown up to Cleveland Browns games to show support, he even played high school football as a wide receiver. He was so good that he got college consideration, but LeBron knew basketball was his destiny, and it is an understatement to say that choosing basketball over football has served him well.

However, choosing the NBA over the NFL hasn't changed LeBron's appreciation of football skill.

Tennesee Titans wide receiver Taywan Taylor turned heads with a 95 yard, two touchdown performance on only four receptions. The former wide receiver in LeBron was one of those who was impressed.

When the NFL posted Taylor's most impressive play of the night, a 47-yard play where it was clear that no defender on the field had the speed to keep up with the young receiver, the new Laker was quick to show appreciation, commenting

“SPEED KILLS! Sheesh.”

Getting a compliment from one of the top athletes in the world is an impressive accomplishment.  Taylor appreciated LeBron's virtual pat on the back. Via the Titans official website, he claimed that

“When I heard that, my heart kinda dropped… LeBron, that's my favorite player there. That's unbelievable, and that's motivation to see he's watching. It's crazy. … I want to tell myself, he must be a Titans fan.”

Unfortunately for Taylor, LeBron has chosen to stay loyal to his local Cleveland team, no matter how much they underperform.  The other team he supports is surprisingly the Dallas Cowboys.

While LeBron James might not support the Titans, its still an awesome moment that Taylor will be telling his grandchildren one day.
