Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James knows what it takes to be a champion, so it's not surprising to see him full of praise for the Golden State Warriors after they take down the Houston Rockets in Game 6.

The Warriors were at a disadvantage in the crucial contest after Kevin Durant got injured in Game 5. However, the Dubs responded to the challenge and stepped up to beat a spirited Rockets team.

LeBron then took it to Twitter to express his reaction on the Warriors' win, crediting the Dubs for showing the “heart of a champion.”

Golden State lost their two road games in Houston prior to Game 6, so the odds are stacked against them heading to the match. Sure enough, Durant's injury didn't help their case.

Nonetheless, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 60 points to lead the Dubs to a 118-113 victory and show Houston that they are not just about KD.

James Harden, the reigning NBA MVP, scored 35 markers; but he was a no-show when it mattered most, missing five free-throws and going for 6-of-15 from beyond the arc.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said prior to the game that he's not worried about his team, especially since they have won the championship three times in the last four years. And true to what LeBron James said, the Dubs showed why they are the champs.
