DeMar. DeRozan. The Bulls guard has been the ultimate clutch weapon for Chicago this season – and even Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was left stunned.

King James initially expected it was going to be a game decided by former Lakers teammate Kyle Kuzma. Kuz has had a penchant for these clutch moments all season, and looked like he was going to add another to his collection after his three with 3.3 seconds left on the clock. Kuz caught a pass from Bradley Beal on the right wing and just let it fly.

But alas, it was not meant to be for Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards. DeMar DeRozan had just enough time to get off a shot in the corner – and he made it count.

The Bulls star was fresh off a game-winner the previous night as well, which clearly left an impression on LeBron James. The Lakers star was left to appreciate DeRozan's clutch gene as he himself has done so in the past as well.

We're seeing a handful of the old-timers take over this season. The league is being dominated by 30-somethings who are supposed to be past their prime but somehow aren't such as DeRozan, Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, and Kevin Durant.

LeBron James is a prime example, leading the Lakers in his age-37 season. While the next generation is poised and ready to takeover, DeMar DeRozan, LeBron James, and the old guard still have some left in the tank.
